Gotvand regulatory dam is located 11 km downstream of the Gotvand Olia dam and upstream of Gotvand city at 4 km from it. The purpose of the current studies is to investigate the possibility of constructing a hydroelectric power plant downstream of the Gotvand regulatory dam for generating energy through the passing flow.
