Water Pipeline, Pump Stations, and Power Transmission

Azad Dam to Ghorveh-Dehgolan Plain

The water transfer system from Azad Dam to Ghorveh-Dehgolan Plain, to convey water from the west to the east of Kurdistan province, annually provides more than 150 MCM of urban, industrial, and agricultural needs within the project area. Due to the appropriate quality of water, this system has an important role in the water supply of Sanandaj, Ghorveh, and Dehgolan cities.

We have designed and supervised the executive operations of the project in different parts of water pipelines, tunnels, pumping stations, power transmission lines, and power substations.

This system consists of 72 km of steel pipeline with diameters of 2.0 and 1.8 m, two tunnels with a total length of 15 km, and has a capacity of 7 m3/s.

To transfer water to the destination, three pumping stations with a total height of 660 m with a total absorbed power of 30 MW, three substations 63/6.3 kV, 33 km transmission line with a voltage level of 63 kV have been used.
