Shohada llam Reservoir Dam (Galal) is located in llam province at 20 km northwest of llam city and about 5 km from Chavar city on Galal-Rood River, one of the tributaries of the Godar-Khosh River. This dam is going through the stages of impounding.

The main goals of this dam are to develop industry in llam province and to provide the needs of petrochemical and gas refineries water with the amount of 8.8 MCM, to provide the environmental needs of the downstream area with the volume of 3.5 MCM, and also to control the floods entering the reservoir.
